A Test and A Follow Up
on CWJ’s Post.
A test because the comment I made on CWJ’s post fell into the junk.

More like MyT
I don’t know if Boadicea or Bearsy has deleted the comments on MY post, I certainly didn’t. I don’t intend to create a drama but I’m angry.
Next time you talk about freedom of speech (not my cup of tea)or hypocrsy or “talking about message not the messenger” please think again before opening your mouth.
Yes, my English is not good, but mocking it is so poor. Kind of The Club’s tactics. As I said to them it’s a pathetic way of admission of you have nothing to say about what I say. (Please don’t say you what I say is imprehensible, or I don’t get what you say).
I asked you if we were your guests here to which you replied “No”. But you many times implied (or expressed directly) that this is your site. Fair enough. Why act like the other way round?
You don’t have to like me. I’d expect you would say that directly rather than beating around the bush.
Test
The test covers various subjects, among them financial crisis, illegal phone tapping, minorities, defence, foreign politics etc. If you know the correct answer to the questions in this test, you may very well assume that you know much more than many officials in Europe and the EU. Music
The band’s name is seksen dört (84). They became famous by their amateur MP3 circulating on the internet.
Gray
I was watching a film. A typical The Conte of Monte Cristo adaptation. The good boy was betrayed by his best friends. He returns in another identity and starts taking his revenge. Step by step, bit by bit he was making them suffer in the very same way they had done to him. As a good audience I was enjoying to see them suffer. Continue reading “Gray”
Mehteran and Beethoven
It’s said that Beethoven was inspired by Turkish Janissary band (Mehteran in Turkish) when he composed his famous Turkish march. Continue reading “Mehteran and Beethoven”
Burqa etc.
Claire, actually I’m not in the exact mood of writing something like that. But the promise I’ve given you is annoying me like a homework waiting. 🙂
So here is a few points of my opinion about headscarves, burqa etc. Continue reading “Burqa etc.”
A Book Recommendation
I’m not a book-worm. To be perfectly honest, I don’t read much. If the book does not get me within 50 pages, I usually leave it.
A couple of months ago, a book in Turkey became very popular, usually I keep a suspicion distance to over-promoted pop-culture items. Anyway, this time I failed and decided to buy it. (Note, I said buy, not read. 🙂 ). Because it contained essences from the great Sufi, Rumi.
So I did. I started reading it and it really got me. I finished it within 3-4 days. It’s one of the best I’ve read in a very long time.
The King and I
I agree with what’s been said here
