Hello Levent: On Wednesday this week the DJIA was down a tad more than 200 points (that’s a loss of about 500 Billion US dollars to the US investing public) the reason given was “Continuing uncertainty about the perilous state of the economy of (which EU member country?) and the lack of remedial action by the EU.
What? While Merky and Sarky are busy trying to find their asses using both hands, and laying blame on anyone but themselves, we the people have lost TWICE the GDP of said country in one day.
I called Joe the Veep yesterday (my local ex-Senator) and suggested that TARP be extended forthwith and the Feds buy said country and immediately close it down pending its purchase by a responsible buyer (Australia came to mind), with our experience of AIG, GM and the rest we could make some serious money here.
It’s all a bit Delphic to me.
Thank you for the comments LW and Zen.
I was just about so say,… but never mind, Levent!
