I like animals, colour, the Thames, reading, cooking, writing, eating, walking. I don't like bullies, butchers' shops, crowded public transport, Nigel Farage.

That was quite amazing, Isobel. Excellent choice, thank you. Strangely, before battle commenced, it reminded me of Allegro non troppo.
I think Alice Dupre is extremely talented. Ever since seeing Cardboard Cars when it won the first Channel 4/ Bore Me Viral competition a few years ago I have been looking out for her stuff. V glad you liked it. 🙂
I don’t know where you find these these, Isobel; I wouldn’t know where to look, but I will take note of the name. Very good indeed! 🙂
‘these these’? ‘these things’, perhaps. Sorry.
You should try reading the Independent Bilby!
Is that like saying, “I should get out more”, Isobel? 😉
No Bilby, not at all. You seem to be out quite a lot, carrying you gas mask bag, fondling your stone hippo. The Indie is a nice mix and often has surprising and interesting stuff that you don’t find in the other papers.
There is much to be said for hippo fondling, Isobel. However, if I were still in possession of the gas mask bag, the fondling may have been unnecessary.
When the signs are right, I may venture to The Indie. 🙂
Separation anxiety is a terrible thing. 😉
Night night, Isobel.
Is this about the hippo Bilby?
Cat has been sleeping on me as much as he can this evening, or beside me with one paw on me to make sure I don’t disappear without him knowing.
Something scared him when he was outside this morning, but I don’t know what it was. He’s been a bit odd all day.
Bilby, #6
Made me laugh. I searched for a cartoon. Couldn’t find.
In the first one, a chap is typing “Hello, this is John, I’m internet addict”
In the second one, a group of people with him a circle, typing altogether “Hello John”
🙂
Yes! i like it Levent!
Alice Dupre has done one about people ringing in making excuses why they are late for work that is good too.
Just having fun, Isobel. The hippo is just a small, pleasingly tactile beast which has travelled with me for a long time and reminds me of the sunburnt country.
I think it’s lovely that you and Cat are so close. I hope the scary thing doesn’t reappear, poor little chap.
Good one, Levent! 😀
Sweet dreams to you both.
Far from stationary stationary.
Fav Virals is it?
I cannot stop cracking up every time I see this one.

Catatonic.
That’s a pick-me-up for pussies, Pseu.
Oh Ferret you’ve posted that before haven’t you. Cat is quite blasé about being photographed, but our handsome semi-feral, Sonny, (full name Son of Buster as we think that our previous semi-feral, Buster, was his dad) is most suspicious of cameras and worried by them. I tried to film Cat in the garden yesterday, but it was a pretty dismal failure as he kept running up to me. I might see if I can get a couple of seconds out of it.
