Feel Good hit of the Summer*
The last ten days have not been the best. I have been suffering from severe pains at the back of my head. I have a high pain threshold and while the ache was not excruciating it was an annoying jabbing throb. With great reluctance and as a last resort I booked an appointment with my GP.

BBC News – NHS accused of bias against private sector.
So why am I not surprised at this news?
God help the NHS if it was ever subjected to healthy competition from a Private Sector offering to carry out the same operations at NHS costs. No wonder they are frightened it would impact on NHS hospitals, with their grossly inefficient management structures.
Conversation with my granddaughter
‘Pop pop, please may I have some tea?
‘Of course, sweetheart.’
‘And may I have it with no milk, because I want to drink it in the front room where George is.’
‘Do you want kinder tee then?’
‘No, real tea but with no milk in it.’
Why no milk?
