German is a very long winded language, they seem to take a hell of a long time to get out even basic facts.

CO: German is a very rigid and exact language. You have to use the correct prefixes, suffixes and compound words. As a result there is almost no way that German can be simplified or abbreviated.
As a ‘classicist’, that is what appealed to me about German. Clear rules which are akshully followed to the letter, and clearly enunciated, generally speaking; except people accused me of speaking it like a Dutchman!
