Merry Christmas to all. Not exactly paddleboard weather but it is 65 degrees here, decided to rake leaves one last time in 2014 mostly to work off the excesses of breakfast. Cocktails at 4 dinner at 5, bed by nine probably. The joys of old age.
How very civilised, LW! Vikings unfortunately never know when to stop. Mrs J says it’s because they were traditionally farmers who lived too far from each other not to make the most of their visits. Now they arrive early and never leave. Does the conversation flag? Only if the booze runs dry. Do they drive home? You bet. And what do they do for the rest of the holiday? Party all over again.Luckily, like you, LW, I can play the age card.
