A poem for Christmas

I like to get in early. Great idea for a competition PG:-

Santa Claus is on the roof

Rudolf Reindeer’s on the hoof

Sleigh is loaded down with toys

But not for naughty girls and boys.

Mince pies on the mantelshelf

Waiting for the helpful elf

Oats put out for the reindeer

And for Santa, a pint of beer

Stockings hanging by the fire

Chrimbo cards hanging from a wire

Christmas tree put up by Mum

Pity it’s up the fairy’s bum

Suddenly Santa has a worried look

He consults within his little book

He says “Bugger, this is absurd,

It’s the wrong day, the 23rd!”
