The Bearded Lady, 21st-century style. I am not nearly as bothered by Conchita Wurst as I am by her/his/its defenders. Wurst is merely a sideshow, an eccentric drag queen in a long line of them. That so many of her/his/its performers treat any criticism of Wurst’s style or performance as if it were a call for genocide is terrifying.
Great cartoon, gazoopi. As for the cockroaches, Christina, some of them are probably starting a wig collection already.
Sheona one has to wonder how much truth there is in the saying ‘Those that the gods wish to destroy they first make mad’. In the past various civilisations have just died out not all for apparent physical reasons. Makes one wonder if humanity has a predilection for such self destruct mechanisms and is it species specific on this planet? Would other species be so damned silly?
Well if that is the way humanity is going it’s time to reintroduce a few Patagonian titanosaurs to scoff them up.
Irritating that they were herbivores!!
Perhaps they should introduce velociraptors to the European song contest, wake it up a bit if half the contestants were to be eaten onstage. I have a lovely image of said beast spitting out mouthfuls of hair with a distinct grimace of distaste on its face.
What we need are a few Romans to organise it, forget the lions just eat the ‘christians’ whilst singing their dreadful droning dire songs.
