Just a new way for the government to stick it’s nose in your business?
But what is it really? The numbers on the front read 2,4, 15,30,60 not a sequence that means much to me! Or is one of those thing that nobody nose?

Had this conversation recently with ex squaddies Poppy fascism? The rules, do and don’t do? Keep ’em up all year but it is not good form. Remembrance is carried in the heart not the lapel.
We’ll take our poppies down when we feel like it! I’ve enjoyed having them on our banner this week.
It’s no surprise that there are some people who want to find fault with a campaign that has ONLY beneficial objectives – like helping veterans and reminding us all of the horrors of war. Such people want to impose their ‘take’ on the idea. Weird.
Do not know if I agree 100% Janus. Recently the Poppy has been used to prop up unpopular wars (Parthia, Afghanistan, Iraq). One needs to ask why UK army dying for “Gas in Nebraska”.
