I’m rather smugly not bothered about the heat really, although the garden is looking a bit parched, but most of it will survive, I’m sure. Nothing lasts for long here, and one of the few advantages of living in an old house is that it’s really quite cool.
It’s jolly handy for about two weeks every seven years, or so, and I really am not complaining about the totally exorbitant heating bills for the rest of the time!
