Meet lush puppy – a friend’s 14-week-old lemon cocker spaniel.
He’s a totally adorable bold, soft-mouthed little chap, probably to be named Charlie, although he answers to anything at the moment.
No luxury dog beds required – he’s happiest snoozing flat out in the dust under a bush.
Adding these for you, Pseu! 🙂 Lush puppy with my pal’s 14-month-old working cocker Rudi. On pup’s arrival, Rudi took the opportunity to show pup who’s boss by giving him a thorough humping but things have calmed down now and they are showing every sign of being the best of friends.
Totally adorable, true – May I suggest Sam(uel) the Span(eul).

Nice one OZ! (I was afraid you might be firing up the barbecue) .I’ll pass on your suggestion to my pal 🙂
Pass on the suggestion OR I’ll fire up the barbie.
OZ
Yikes! 😀
Charlie will need a companion dog for walks. I propose you get one to match called Malone.
Matching names are not a good move, Pseu. Just ask my surviving chickens, Little and Wise.

🙂
A house is not a home without one, he’ll be a good friend.
Totally agree, Zen. The kittens help but we really need a spaniel puppy to pep up the dynamics a bit 🙂
Laughing at your Little and Wise, OZ – what a comedy disaster that would have been! Large and Morecambe, even worse!!
If only i wasn’t working full time, Pseu…. sob. 😦
There’s a vacancy here if he needs a home! Pleeeeeease! 😀
I think little and Wise has a certain ring to it. (We had Jake and Elwood, the blues brothers. But Elwood is no moar.)
Thanks for the added photos 🙂
Yes, Cuprum, you and me both!! But sensibly, she is very much keeping both. It’s sweet after only a couple of days, the puppy recognises her as the boss and follows her around 🙂
No probs, Pseu. I’m looking forward to taking some action pics of him out on Cleeve Hill! If I can only manage to get him in shot, I think I’ll be doing ok!!
