9th Poetry Competition: Results.

Thank you to both Minty and Pseudonym for their entries. It was very difficult to judge them as I enjoyed both.

Pseudonym’s was brilliantly wrought with a subtle and delicate touch.

Araminta’s poem was vivid and colourful. It reminded me of reading some works by my favourite author, Yoshimoto Banana.

It’s been a difficult decision, but I will give the tenth competition to Araminta.

  1. Oh really, Christopher! Terrible video and an anodyne tune with so much audio processing that it’s impossible to tell if the singers are good, bad or indifferent. I’d far rather have an Oompah band from Trier! πŸ˜€

    Well done Araminta. πŸ™‚
    … and Pseu.

  2. What a lovely surprise, and thank you, Christopher!

I really liked Nym’s poem though, but you are the judge, and thank you for your kind words. πŸ™‚

  3. … and thank you all for your congratulations.

The downside, is that I have to think about the next competition, if there is any interest.

Where have all the poets gone? 😦

  4. Congatulations Araminta and Pseu and sorry I was unable to provide my usual supporting role πŸ™‚ in this particular competition. The NSW contracted flu (again) from one of the patients which has developed this time into pneumonia, so she is is more than a little under the weather and in need of some of OZ’s special TLC, hence my somewhat erratic appearances of late.

Set the subject, Araminta, and I’ll do my best. I have to say, though, that today I summoned up the courage to tell the Muse in the West Wing that she may have to vacate during the visit of The Ferrets in July and she is not well pleased. Das FΓΌrballen are hiding as the thunder and lightning rolls around the hill and I’m going to join them to be honest.

  5. OK, OZ, I hope the NSW recovers soon, and I’ll think of something inspirational, er well something.

Regarding the Muse, don’t tell her we’ve moved. πŸ™‚
