I’ve been meaning to post a picture of my car’s cobweb laden mirror for some time now, Val’s picture post on flowers titled ‘Find the cobweb’ (or similar) and her more recent ‘mirror image’ effort made me finally do something about it!
A little history to begin with, spiders for some reason or another have always held a high position in the hierarchy of the Soutie household, (possibly one tier lower than the cat, but as the cat’s position is self proclaimed rather than bestowed perhaps that doesn’t count!), they are obviously eating something and that has to be good for my environment, I’ve never killed them.

I remember my wedding day in Aberdeen in July many years ago. The wind and rain were awful. Things have changed. Of course it could also be a good advert for the anaesthetic properties of Scotch!

The road to Artists Point is finally open, the machines and bulldozers got there two days ago. A good week later than usual, it was reported that they still had at least 20′ of snow on the car park. Never said I, lets go and look!
