General – Page 169 – Boadicea's Chariot

Big games tomorrow (NZ time) I’ve a trivia quiz for our rugby loving members but not quite now, I’ll be publishing the quiz about this time tomorrow, just to keep you tossing and turning ’till you wait for the kickoffs 😉

In the meantime name the players sent off in this game (I was there), which became known as ‘The Battle of the Boet” (our stadium was called the Boet Erasmus stadium)

Of course our province was known for no nonsense hard rugby, in fact the 1st “Battle of the Boet” that I saw was actually between Willie John’s Lions and Eastern Province (yes, I was there, as I was at the test)

Try and get the names before the announcer, here’s a clue, 3 were sent off, perhaps still a RWC record!
