This World

My youngest son will be 18 in a few weeks. Seventeen has been quite trying for him.
He could have joined the army if he so wished yet is not allowed to buy Call of Duty in the shops. He can fire a live gun but not a simulated computer one.

He can’t vote, which if he did enlist seems unfair. The elected government of his elders could send him off to war. That government might not have got in had his generation had a vote. Continue reading “This World”

Euro talks

Can someone explain why these talks on the Euro start late evening after a large meal with plenty of booze no doubt. What is wrong with meeting fresh first thing in the morning and having sandwiches and coffee/tea/water so that a clear head is kept?

Mind you this probably explains why they can’t come up with an answer, too pissed or too tired.

Screw you Cambuffoon!

Who the hell does that unelected arsehole think he is?

The Brit public and now his own Tories have asked time and again for the right to have our say over the EU. Even if he does believe that membership is in our best interests, that is not his call to make. He is a Public Servant, allow me to transpose, he serves the public. We decide what we want then it is his task to manage that. If enough voters register a concern, and they have via the dubya cubed, then it is his sworn duty to seek the truth. Not to arbitrarily decide what is best for us like petulant children. Lets have a referendum, if the public as a majority still want to be a part of the ridiculous conglom run by the nation we stuffed twice and the cowards who spent their time wedged firmly up Fritz’s exhaust then I will gladly eat my own litter tray.

What a condescending, arrogant prick.

Unemployment solution

I have come up with an idea that will create hundreds of jobs in England and solve the Barnett formula problem.

Get the unemployed to rebuild Hadrian’s Wall but a lot higher, install electrified razor wire and put up gun posts to shoot any trespassers. Then cut off Scotland and let them go it alone.

On going we can have border control posts ensuring that any from north of the border who wish to come south have funds and can pay their way.

Billions saved, thousands employed. Win win
