I watched the Invictus games with much more enthusiasm than the Olympics, as my reader will probably have suspected. H has done a good job and I hope the concept grows into something special like his granddad’s D of E Awards. Just don’t let the Septics anywhere near it lest it be hijacked and degenerates into just another tawdry Murica fest.

OZ: So far the Americans have behaved themselves. They’ve hosted it once and have participated regularly. As long as they don’t control the cash flow or gain control over management they’re not too bad. Prince Harry will have to be careful not to let them grow too influential lest he lost control over it.
