Theresa’s blind spot

‘Right, Gran. I’m takin’ a year off to look after you
– bring us a cuppa tea will you?’ (Mac in the Mail)

The Onslow* generation will welcome the idea, mine will not. I’ll ask the clan next time I’m over there but I can’t see it catching on, even among Ms May’s homogeneous ‘workers’. What is she thinking?

  1. Actually a lot of people are so useless that it is probably worthwhile paying them to stay out of the work place.

  2. Later……………..Theresa is making too many bad calls. Refusing to debate issues may or may not (:-)) be one of them. The audience in lefty smart Cambridge would have been unsympathetic to all shades of blue.

  3. Janus: That “debate” was so squalid that no one came out of it with any shred of dignity. The braying lefty hordes are overjoyed at the childish antics of the “progressive alliance”, but it seems as if everyone else is less than impressed. Amber Rudd, uncharacteristically, came out of it more than holding her own. Tomorrow May and Corbyn will debate one-on-one.
