Trump aces it

Yes, he is gross and boorish; offensive and arrogant; uncouth and incorrigible, etc, etc…

But his foreign policy speech hits the mark, by pointing out that foreign policy is about establishing and protecting his country’s interests. A blinding flash of the refreshingly obvious!

So UKGov, please note. Enough already of mealy-mouthed false altruism, hand-wringing concern for distant beggars, the pretence that the world cares about the UK’s well-being.

Grow some, Cameron! Learn from Trump’s focus on what matters for us.

  1. Saw the speech. Only in Murca or France could self interest be so fiercely and openly promulgated and I do so wish that our own politicians would indeed grow some.

Having said that, if Donald and Hillary are the best that the US has to offer the free world then Gawd ‘elp us all.

  2. Having just read Trump’s foreign policy speech, I have the feeling it will go down very well in the USA.

  3. Nationalism ain’t pc these days. We all feel it but daren’t voice it. The EU tries to bury it and replaces it with….nowt.

  4. And in other news, talking of Murcan politics…….guess who is high on the list of Hillary’s picks for high office when she gets the Big Job! yes, it’s Lego-haired David Milimouth himself! (Jack Straw cosied up to Ms Rice (remember?) but didn’t get close enough it seems.) Young David would become a Murcan citizen for a plum posting. Who could blame him for staying away from GB Labour?!
