A jaundiced view of the sea. April Pome Comp.

Out at sea, the windmills are turning,

The bug-eyed greenie twits are gurning

Oh what a dreadful waste of space

Those windmills are, in that place

In that place there used to be

Fishing boats and you could see

Them catching fish for us to eat as tack

Now the EU makes us throw them back

I wish I could just look out to sea

And see again our proud Navy

Now our dreadful pollie crowd just gloats

As we have to use some rowing boats

All in the name of diversity

We no longer rule the sea

I have had it up to here

Just like Brighton’s old West Pier!
