Thank you, JW! 🙂
JW – I am inspired to compose a song,
“Dancing with the corner flag.” Watch this space!,
Can we have the music to go with this please 🙂
I’m reminded vaguely of this little tune.
or this….they sound happy!
You named that tune in four (fourth comment, formerly known as #4), J-Man, it is indeed inspired by the Roger Miller classic. Critics are saying that the words don’t scan but what do the pundits know about this form of lyricism. A talented vocalist like, say, Adele or Samantha Fox would cram all those syllables into the bar.
Sam’s syllables? What – both of them? 🙂
From memory Samantha built a whole career on her two syllables, and jolly nice they were too – probably lisping a bit now though. 😀

Gentlemen, don’t bring the tone down. 🙂
Sammy had a big hit (careful) with a song called, wait for it…Touch Me. Need to pay you tube a visit.
Bring the tone down? Moi?
