The hellebores are flowering now, hidden in the corner, and we all walk past them, without taking them in, so this afternoon, as I often do, I picked a few, and put them into a glass bowl full of water in the sunshine.
No time to lose. No, time to lose.

Beautiful photos, Pseu. Hellebores always remind me of my father who spent years trying to get them to flower. Perhaps Aberdeen isn’t the best place for them.
I didn’t know they are fussy… though I suppose if they like my soil, they thrive and I have no reason to worry about them!
They seem to be one of those plants that either like their location or die promptly! Dark red ones proliferate madly in my garden but the pale ones struggle! Only just up and not flowering yet here.
