Although not a regular visitor any more, I do have fond memories of the old MyT site that morphed into Boadicea’s Chariot and some of the folk that used to inhabit it, some of whom are still posting on here. I would like to wish each and every one of you a Happy, Healthy and Prosperous New Year.

Prosperity may be a bit hard to come by here next year. Poor old retirees like yours truly are being savaged by the guv’mint. I got a Social Security increase of $40 per month but my Medicare premiums went up by $42 per month, real progress. In addition the new health law requires my 60 year old wife to have insurance cover for maternity care and pediatric health issues so her premiums go from $165 per month to $360.
That’s why they called it “The Affordable Care Act”, thieves.

Wishing you a very Happy New Year Old Movie Guy.Let’s hope we hear more of you in the new Year. Let’s make Spring a target! I will posting some stuff real soon so put ya specs on. And yes Jason old son, my resolution is to put more trivia in the window. Guess who was Father Christmas this year – chosen by the school I work at to visit each class and greet the kids in full cry and in full gear.
