It’s hard to make a comeback when you haven’t been anywhere

I took the summer off, basically. Well, if you can call doing two jobs, managing the house and garden and going through a family bereavement ‘taking time off’.

It was however time off from blogging.

Anyhoo I’m back. Back, and determined to stay in control. The photograph was taken at out local garden centre. I was tempted to buy one to put in the (f)utility which says ‘pathology museum’.

I have resigned from one job (goodbye district nursing, after all those years…. 25 years in fact) and am just doing one now. But lots of hours, with shift work, so my week is erratic and sometimes unpredictable.

I notice that there are not many posts these days, and that Janus has had enough. Shame.

Do fill me in on the last six month’s gossip, news and stuff like that…..

??????????

No time to lose. No, time to lose. Make time to stand and stare.... Did you see that?

  1. Sorry to hear life has been a bit rocky.
Mostly this summer people have been traveling.
Bo in Blighty., me in Wales for the summer, christopher in the Far East. Oz toing and froing to the UK. Ara moving to Dorset. LW did an epic trip to the Great Lakes and back down the Hudson by boat.
I guess we all got tied up and now must make an effort to get back into harness.
It would be a pity to let the site go through lack of application when there are so very few civilised places!!
    Good to see you back.
Maybe a bit of a holiday? but with Uni fees hovering on the horizon……..

  2. Morning Pseu, have you left a door open? I’ve just felt a breath of fresh air 🙂

    Welcome back.
    (even though you’d never left!)

  3. Hi Pseu. Welcome back after your aestas horribilis. Hope things pick up from here.

  4. Thanks for the update, Christina.
Thank you Soutie for suggesting I have wafted in a little fresh air 🙂
Thank you, Ara, for the condolences…
And yes, Four eyed EG, I shall keep my fingers crossed.
