1. Since when can sheep shagging be considered racist? Since when were the Welsh deemed a separate race? Surely it has to be specieist?
   Couldn’t help buy be amused considering the tale recounted on Environmentally friendly or just broke?

   I swear the courts have taken leave of their senses.
   I wonder if it is deemed racist when the Welsh call each other sheep shaggers? If so, half the country would be in jail every Sunday morning after a good Saturday night!
   Or is it only racism when a drunken English peasant shouts it? Really, they should have given him a good kicking and left it at that!

2. Absolute insanity. I cannot see how it was racist, even if the Welsh were a separate race. By calling him Welsh sheep shagger, he implied that there could be sheep shaggers from other nations/races. These people who admit their guilt in situations like this deserve the punishment they receive. He should have shown his contempt for the court and faced the consequences.

3. Indeed! I doubt whether the practice is confined to the Welsh. Kiwis are also reputed to do it when not employing their oval balls elsewhere.

4. He can’t be blamed, back home in Bolton it’s probably considered a compliment.

7. nothing wrong with a bit of sheep shagging as long as they are female sheep, anything else is a little queer.

   But then my Greek side says goats are better (female ones of course) 🙂

9. Good to see it works both ways at last. I always thought that white Englishmen were the only ones who could still be racially abused.
