Thought that I’d share my good fortune with fellow members.
Although I already have super tickets for Saturday’s test here at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium (5 of them bought just a couple of days after ticketing opened, see here) I just had to simply share my delight at the phone call I received this evening.
You’ve all probably guessed by now, I’ve won them!
The small print says, ‘transport, brewery tour, meals and free beer’
Am I a lucky boy or wot?
I’ve just noticed the grocers’ apostrophe, not me Guv 🙂
Have a couple of Castles for me, Soutie, there’s a good chap. It is one of the world’s better beers.

Morning OZ
I certainly will, cheers!

Well Done!
Hmm, wait, didn’t you win tickets during the World Cup too…? What’s going on here?
Anyway, enjoy the game – can England avoid a whitewash, I wonder?
Well, Bravo, I suspect that will depend on whether the match is officiated by people who know the rules. The first Bok try should never have been awarded. One could clearly see that the ball had passed straight through the tunnel. Even if the ref did not see it the assistant ref should have spotted it. The scrum should have been re-set.
While the Boks were vastly superior in the first half, one cannot help but feel that had they not been awarded a try so early in the game, things may have turned out differently.
But it was a good game and despite a great recovery by England, it was a weaker team.
Enjoy – I am green with my usual envy for your sporting fixture attendances over the years!
But….I have one too this year – I will popping on the train in July to go watch England lose to Australia in a ODI at Edgbaston – with no Pieterson playing I won’t get my money’s worth, but I look forward to it. I’d rather watch some rugger though!
Not too much to argue with there, Sipu 😦
Hi Cuprum
Good to see you back on site!
Cuprum: 😀 It’s nice to see you back! I’ve wondered what happened to you!
I did indeed Bravo, Portugal vs Ivory Coast (FIFA 2010)
As Cunfusius say ‘you have to be in it to win it’ 😉
I doubt it!
I truly enjoyed the demise of Holland – a team of self-opinionated, overpaid gobby prima donnas who thought they could run the show from the dressing room and were sent home with nul points.
Terry, Shrek et al please note.
