Nicolulla, pictured here with a recent squeeze, is the son of a Hungarian immigrant and a French mother of Greek-Jewish origin, was baptised a Roman Catholic and grew up in Paris, and is now married to an Italo-Brazilian. Glass houses and stones came to mind when he identified an excess of foreigners as the root of France’s woes.
But he probably got it wrong – as he did when claiming that France had more manufacturing industry than the UK. The fact is that everyone with a French passport is foreign and yes, there are too many of them. But who is he to tallk – the Mister Punch of Paris?

Nicely done Janus
Therein lies the problem of not calling a ‘spade’ a ‘spade’!
I wonder if the frogs will ever get round to throwing a few out, I doubt it, especially Sarcy, must be really frightened of the National Front in the next election.
Christina, France is actually more efficient than Britain at throwing out unwanted foreigners, since it never adopted the ECHR stuff into French law. Sarkozy is planning to reduce immigration from 180,000 to 100,000 per year and also restrict state handouts to those who have been resident for 10 years and paying taxes for 5. His idea of labelling meat that has been killed by either kosher or halal slaughter strikes me as sensible too.
Sheona, what very interesting info, my estimation of him rises!
But I do think none of them really have the guts to tackle those ban lieus in N Paris, what absolute rats nests.
