Hello Christopher, I obviously thought of you when I received this and just knew that you would enjoy it.
I rode my motorbike through Namibia in 2009. Its a beautiful country.
This is the 350km gravel road between Windhoek and Swakopmund.

It’s a part of the world that has interested me because I met the Engineering Director of NBC, or the Namibian Broadcasting Corporation. It must have been been shortly after they broke away from SABC in the early eighties. It was purely business, and we had dinner. He was not Namibian but Ethiopian, and I rated him as one of the most attractive men I have ever met; honey coloured skin, tall, with high cheekbones and he moved with incredible grace. He was married to an very chic French television journalist!
He talked with great enthusiasm about the sheer beauty of the country, and I was hooked! I really wanted to see it for myself. The company I worked for didn’t get the order, so I have never visited. 😦
