  1. Oops! Evenin’ Boadicea. I only knew that because I’ve just finished Sarah Bradford’s biography of Liz Two.

Without reverting to you-know-whoogle is 8. the first or last flight of Concorde? It can’t be the Paris crash, which was in the summer as I remember. And 9. is a Saturn V rocket. First moon mission?

  2. I see that Oz’s alter ego answered Q6, or do we have a new member? 🙂

As for participation from me, I have absolutely no idea, clueless in fact but I’ll keep my thinking cap on and perhaps surprise myself a little later 😕

  3. #1 I think I have seen that statue, or at least a photo of it, before, but I cannot remember where.

Is it concerning the last real Prince of Wales Llewellyn. Maybe today was the day he was captured or died. I am also not sure if he is the one standing or the disembodied head! 🙂

  4. Maybe today was the day he was captured or died. I am also not sure if he is the one standing or the disembodied head!

I assume it is the disembodied head – since this is the anniversary of his capture / death.

  5. Oo Miss! Please Miss! 9. is the last lunar landing – Apollo 17.

Got to go out for a while. Back later.

  6. 7. Craig and Bentley. I can only assume that this is the date that they were both pronounced guilty, and Bentley received the death sentence.

  7. Good morning, Boadicea. Just thinking, but is No. 5. Oppenheimer, the atomic bomb bloke?

I am sure the two photograghs in No.7 refer to murderers or serial killlers, the top one being of a Brit whose name escapes me and the other some Septic mass murderer. Did they both, by any chance, meet rheir state-decreed Maker on the same date?

  8. Sorry Oz – but Araminta got the right answer!

The two photos are of Bentley and Craig – a savage miscarriage of justice if ever there was one.
