  5. Given the context and her penultimate paragraph, I am surprised she did not mention John Ruskin. Maybe that was too obvious. Bidisha seems like a feisty lady. So does the Naked Maja.

  6. Some men like a hairy mary and some don’t, Toc – and some women are pressurised into conforming to this opinion, so I’m not sure it is always “…. a subject best left to women to explain to us men”
