   Donald: I agree.

   Tom: Puritans actually drank quite a bit. They did not understand water safety fully, but they did know that they would get sick if they drank regular water so they drank a lot of cider and ale. It was only some time later that they realised that it might not be a good idea to put the loo and the drinking well quite so close together…
