Someone is playing silly buggers, Toc. When I signed off this morn there was an obit notice for a Teddy Bear on the main page – now gone, I’m glad to say.
All very strange Zen.
Good question Toc, we’ll have to wait and see.
Pleased you asked Toc, I wondered too.
I lost half the front page when I signed on this afto too – but it all looks OK now?
I’m still missing all that I mentioned.
I’ve just signed out and in again, it looks okay now.
Val,
I must have picked up a WWW STD.
🙂
WTF is a WWW STD?
Ask Val. 🙂
The right hand pane is missing several items here too
Eh? Toc
Hows about a Sexually Transmitted Disease picked up on the internet. 🙂
Pseu, that was the part I was talking about.
Nope. Cleared the cache, rebooted, cleared history, rebooted. Nada. On the right from the top I have, all functioning, ‘competition links’, ‘recent comments’, ‘recent posts’, ‘blog stats (summary)’ and ‘useful actions’.
Anyqay, it’s probably a WordPress thaang as most of these glitches usually are.
What time does Bearsy normally surface?

Tocino #10 – You sir, are no gentleman. That is not the way to talk about the Chariot’s resident blonde. 😀
OZ
Gotcha Toc 🙂
OZ, this blonde is proving her blondness just now 🙂 as always.
Don’t suppose you are missing much!
OZ,
I was just alluding to her medical knowledge. Would I be brave enough to infer anything else about our delicious resident blonde? Not bloody likely. 🙂
Normal Service Returned.
Thank you. 🙂
Toc – Nor me either. 🙂
Boadicea – Yup. It’s all back to normal. What happened? Did you forget to put the 50 cents in the meter?
OZ
Mea culpa
I was experimenting with something; Boadicea called me away from my computer and I forgot to restore the sidebar before I went to bed. Nothing sinister (or dextra, come to that).
Zen, in re #1:
It was not an obit for a bear. The title, in Latin, was “In pace requiescat biga”, which on being translated into the English tongue means “May the two-horsed chariot rest in peace”. It featured an artistic line drawing of a sad bear.
Boadicea removed the post, as is her right as the site manager.
Thanks, Bearsy. My Latin is limited to O Level,1961. The word ‘BIGA’ defeated me!
Perhaps ‘quadriga’ might have been more familiar? That’s the four-horse type. 😕 ‘Carrus’ is the generic word, adopted from Gaulish, I believe.
