I don’t care how many syllables, I still find myself unable to write anything which remotely resembles a Kaiku.
Oh the weather out side is frightful, But the fire is so delightful And since we’ve no place to go, Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow-ow! 🙂

Haiku, but my tiny typing fingers are frozen. I must turn the heating back on. 🙂
Minus five and still
The snow is falling
Away to my bed
Up at 4:30
Lost cause in Perth, hope summer
rains stay away here.
Yes! 5 – 7 – 5
Syllables make a haiku
Even when it snows
Oh the weather out
side is frightful, But the fire
is so delightful
And since we’ve no place
to go, Let It Snow! Let It
Snow! Let It Snow-ow!
🙂
It is much brighter
in the long dining room now
with reflected light.
For the cat
who yowls at the door
it is too cold.
