Interesting, Levent. I’m not sure about the chicken based one though. It reminds me of a visit to the US many years ago; I was puzzled and not very excited by an ice-cream flavour labelled “Cold Duck”.
It wasn’t for some time that I discovered that it was champagne flavoured, and nothing whatsoever to do with our quacking and feathered friends.
Good evening Araminta,
It’s pudding only a pinch of chicken breast in it. Not bad.
Less than 7 days and counting….
Woo Hooo!!!!
You are making me nervous Ferret. Am I increasing your level of expectation? I fear you won’t like here, expecting too much. 😛
Panic not friend, we will have a great time no matter where we go.
Plus its a whole fortnight away from the Party Political Bollox that will be all over the meeja here in the UK.
Hallo everyone. I am here if you want me!
Could you please tell me how to become a member on this site pleasw-have joined and got my own page and id-was Bahula on MyT and blogged at zero’s as Kate-me!
I REALLY want to come and play and am thrilled to see some good names I haven’t seen for a while on here.
Happy days.
Love Kate

Hello Kate from Cornwall. You are here! I don’t know if I know you, but welcome anyway! 🙂
Cornish Kate…sounds familiar a bit like Cornish Pasty or Clotted cream.
As for you Levent are you trying to drum up business for the local dentist? 😉
send some over my friend I will eat them with some thick black unsweetened Turkish Coffee (or Greek coffee)
Hi ya Cornish Kate. Welcome. 🙂
Ferret, I’m leaving here on the 19th. Wanna swap emails see if we can get together for a coffee and some of those sweets? tjudge@rocketmail.com
Hello Kate!!!! Very nice to see you here.
Rick. Just give me the address.:)
Kate,
Are the fellow bloggers on ZT aware of here?
I’ll send an email to Aegis, John146 and Petroc too.
Hee Hee Kate,
Welcome you.
Minty MBE, Kate was Bahhula way back in the old days of MyT. She was made to feel unwelcome by the hecklers and trolls so moved to a private site for a long time. As Bahula she smashed a ‘highest number of comments’ record held by HWMNBN. Admittedly 70% of his comments were from his multi IDs.
I would dig out the blog but the Arkansas Chugg-a-Bugs will have lost all the comments anyway. Sniff.
Levent, it seems Turkish Cuisine is everywhere at the moment:
Thanks for the explanation, Furry: hecklers and trolls, I can sympathise with Bahhula; they are still very much in evidence there still. I think it’s just jealousy 🙂
Yes, read that, Levent 🙂 Doner is not my thing, to be honest, the thought of taking a great lump of meat, heating it up then keeping it at bacteria breeding temperature doesn’t actually float my boat.
Looking forward to a fish meze next week, though, I have a liaison officer from the local Polisi, so I’m pretty sure we’ll find a greta restaurant.
For Swedish food, Bravo? 🙂
Drool. I love Turkish food of any description. Even the veggie stuff!
Bravo, if you have sensitive on bacterias, stay away from “ÇiÄŸ Köfte”. It’s raw meat! 🙂
Actually, I meant buyuk, (can’t do umlauts, metin, sorry.) Damned keyboard dyslexia.
I’m glad you told me that, Levent, (and apologies for confusing you with Metin, – drive-by blogging from work,) I don’t do steak tartare, either – good to know the Turkish for that 🙂

Welcome to the cicilised site, Kate.
PS, Petroc would make a marvellous addition to the Roll of Honour, he was really missed in that other place.
It’s the new tactic Bravo. 🙂 I don’t know if you have seen this one, read the comments below the article. 🙂
