A happy St. Patrick’s day to all at DNMT
I knew what to expect, our local agents of Guiness didn’t disappoint, every drink purchased included a scratchcard and every card was a winner.
On the left is what I came home with today, a stupid hat (I would have loved to wear it at this years World Cup, but perhaps another time,) a T-Shirt (that I actually like and will wear often,) a key-ring, a stupid badge (not shown) which I gave away to one of the kitchen staff and believe it or not free beers, five of my cards entitled me to another Guiness, sort of defeats the object I thought, I gave mine away!
I do however have a couple left, here, have a drink on me:-

Cheers ,Soutie: and Happy St. Patrick’s Day to you too! We didn’t celebrate it here in my part of the world but any excuses to raise a glass.
Kevmart – Your picture in the previous comment requires your password (or something, or you’ve moved it) to access – none of us chickens can see it. By the way, it rather gives the game away about who you are. Never mind, eh? 🙂
Sounds as though they didn’t make much profit today!
Morning / afternoon all.
Cheers Ara
Great picture Kev, thanks. And welcome from me, nice to see you here, now please write something 😉
Boadicea, just goes to show that the amount of money that they rip us off with during the other 364 days of the year!
😦
Bearsy, who I am is no secret … all you have to do is check the info section on my profile.
Ooops …. Good morning to you all by the way.
Bearsy, can this one be accessed?
Now I really need to get my ass in gear and get going to work.
Yes – well I can see it.
Kevmart, old bean – we can’t see your profile, mate. As I said in my e-mail to you, you’re equally welcome as Kevmart – or the other name – it’s up to you.
Yes, we can see that picture, thanks (though the other one was funnier). 😀
Kevmart,
I can see both pics and your link to the gallery works too.
Welcome friend, it is great to see you here.
Kevmart is a bit of a wierd name choice but whatever floats your boat chum, as for your MyT ID, I always assumed that was a label you chose specifically to annoy a certain breed of bigot and therefore not necessarily a name that would suit on this site.
I was just going to wish Brendano a belated Happy St Pat’s Day but perhaps he’s still sleeping off rigorous celebrations… ?
I spied a bloke in a brilliant hat at 9.20am yesterday in Chelters. A black topper with a huge felt shamrock on it the size of dustbin lid. He seemed totally unself-conscious about it. I feel he was already a couple of Guinnesses into the day.
Sorry Kevmart but I have no idea who you are. I need a sledgehammer hint that would knock any sane person out for several hours. Perhaps O’Furry would oblige if you can’t?
That traffic feed thing is weird. I wasn’t in Norwich last time I looked. I haven’t been there since I was about eight. And I didn’t like it then.
Sorry Jan,
Its not for me to out the fellow.
If you look at the link to his gallery which is under the guinness pics he posted, there are some clues there.
Nuff sed. 😀
Thanks, jan … as I mentioned on MyT (is that term allowed?), we had a good night of music in the pub. A guy named Tommy Fleming – a well-known singer in Ireland – happened to be there, and sang a couple of songs with us, including this one.
Ahhh Brendano,
So glad you enjoyed your saints day.
You remind me of a fav choon from Broadsword and the Beast. One of Tulls finest albums IMHO.
A belated St. Patricks Day, Brendan.
Thanks, Ferret and Levent.
Wow. Now that crowd could teach the Chelters Town Hall lot a thing or two… 🙂
Great voice, fab tune, rousing chorus. Gotta go. Jethro Tull for later. Did you know Ferret that the great Ian is touring? Going to catch him at Chelt if I get the chance. I started playing the flute because of him.
Bearsy, ta for correcting us …. I thought the profiles were visible to all. Shows how much or rather how little I know.
