Why does it feel like I’m a naughty school boy?
Did I do something wrong?
I expect that going half-way around the world to join a new blog-site is a bit like that. That’s how I feel anyway.
Have the antics of the old guard gotten to some of the less controversial among the community?
Are we just in need of a fresh outlook?
I don’t know the answers but I DO KNOW, that Bearsy has done something pro-active and positive and that I am prepared to support it.
So please join me in adding your comments and blogging in paradise. Hpefully it will be a lot sunnier here… then again here comes Badger!

At the very least, let’s have nominations for the escape committee.

Well frankly, I’m glad I didn’t have to fly here, such are joys of cyber-travel. Nice site, at least it seems to work, which is always a bonus.
Minty, or DM (it all gets a little confusin) – Have you checked out the free blogs option? Dead easy to build your own site and it is a much better facility.
I like it, it’s just going to get very confusing with different IDs and switching sites. It is bad enough with cross threading on the My-T site.

Paul: I have a feeling I didn’t sign up for that option, I really don’t have the time to do a site of my own at the moment, but I’m quite happy to post here, time permitting. I had a quick peak at yours, all looking good.
DM/Minty, Thank you. My own site will be a reference source for Political information and such. It is not my intention to compete with Bearsy, so I will do my blogging and articles here with links to reference material or full discussion blogs. It is important that everyone has the opportunity to participate in open discussion on isses and ideas, so I do not intend to hide myself away on a dedicated source.
I have been looking for a cost-effective way to post a website for sometime, so the blog option has enabled me to do so and to learn a bit about simple site construction too.
As a ‘numb-nuts’ I posted a load of blogs on Enfranchise yesterday that should have been ‘pages’ on the site, so I am now converting these. I intend to add more when I have time.
What is so cool, is that if you sign up to more than one site, you simply have a drop-down option that takes you to either site. Very easy to navigate. This site definately runs a lot smoother and more effectively, even with Internet Explorer.
