To Deltaville, Virginia and on to the Magothy River, Maryland.

Not much to report for Saturday’s efforts, windy rain and thunderstorms, rocking and rolling up the Bay, known water for a change but changeable as a spirited woman (am I still permitted to say things like that?).

I tried to take a picture of the water breaking over the bow, but I could not time it right with all the jumping around that was happening, it is wet down there, right?

Then Sunday up the bay and past the ridiculous followed by the sublime, first Calvert CNG facility built at great expense to handle large bulk CNG carriers and after ten years still waiting for the first delivery, the tree huggers killed this one, ever wonder whey gas prices are so high?

Two Miles up we see Calvert Cliffs Nuclear Generating station 30 years old and still hammering out 800 Megawatts of clean energy.

Then on to the Bay Bridge four miles of steel linking the fine people of the Eastern shore with Washington and Baltimore.

A lot of traffic for Baltimore, wait your turn big boy I was here first.

Under the bridge, it’s a biggie, about four miles long a double span and about 160 feet high in the middle.

And tucked into the Magothy Riiver for the night, home tomorrow.

  1. PC kept to a minimum here!

That is some bridge! Personally, I’d probably let the Big Boy go through first! šŸ™‚

  2. Are we there yet?

Only kidding, look forward to the final page(s), it’s been a great story, well told.
