…and I thought the sun always shone down under! 🙂
Thank you, Christopher. 🙂
I’ve linked it to my thread, Christopher.
Hope you are enjoying your stay in Australia.
Years ago we used to tie up just by the Sydney harbour Bridge at Walsh Bay discharging Newsprint and timber products from Mt Maunganui (NZ). There was a rough pub called the Hero of Waterloo where we would drink the ‘odd’ beer. I believe the whole Rocks area of Sydney has been gentrified . A bit like wot they dun to the Port of Leith……i.e. wrecked the place.
Jazz: yes, very much so — the Rocks are now very much an up-scale neighbourhood.
I still can’t say the ‘Leith Polithe dithmitheth uth’! 🙂
