Photo comp results.

Sorry for the tardiness in assessing the entries in the photo comp

https://charioteers.org/2013/07/10/photo-comp-for-august/

My excuse is that Mrs FEEG and I have been celebrating our Ruby Wedding with the family! Thanks for your entries.

Soutie’s Statues: Certainly wierd and quite impressive

OZ’s two views of sunset: Very interesting effects there, especially #2

Ara’s chandelier: Ā  Quite a strange arrangement

Christopher’s Hiroshima dome. with a weird lighting effect.

All very good and interesting in their diferent ways, but my favourite and this month’s winner is OZ number 2, Reflections of the Sunset. Over to you, my lupine friend.

  1. Thank you FEEG and congrats on the Ruby Wedding. It happens I was in Blighty last week for the Diamond Anniversary of the Great Wolf and the Great She Wolf. Dad’s twin sister was there with her hubby, as was their big sister aged 99. It was a good thrash.

  2. Will do, Janus. I have been partying and living it up, well this weekend anyway. Still rather distracted but I hope things will be somewhat saner in October.

  3. Cheers Christopher. I thought your Hiroshima photo was spooky, definitely weird and a strong contender. Thank you too JW and well done all for getting Araminta out of her shell. .-)

  4. I have to admit to having to look up how long a Ruby Wedding actually was! (With my track record not any event that is too pertinent!) Congratulations.
Any time off for good behaviour?
I too was back in the UK for a Golden Wedding bash. The thought of being married to my brother in law for 50 years is too horrible to contemplate!!!! (But managed to hold my tongue at self deeming derogatory crack!)
I actually managed to totally forget the 10th anniversary this years to spousal unit, somewhat marginally embarrassing!

Mrs FEEG actually said at our celebration lunch in a posh restaurant, “40 years, ‘strewth, The Kray twins got less than that for murder!”

  6. Dear all,

Thanks very much for the good wishes for our Ruby wedding. I am surprised in this day and age it has not been renamed to the Curry Wedding Anniversary!
