My headline is the lazy response from people who really want something but won’t work for it.
Some stalwarts (a small number) still post their experiences, thoughts, enthusiasms and prejudices here – so why don’t the rest of you? It takes perhaps 15 minutes every few days.
Answer: you really don’t care that much. Pity.
Reproof taken on board…
Fifteen minutes! It only takes me five to write my usual four paragraphs of nonsense, J-man. Lately, I’ve been having problems posting on WordPress and my media library wouldn’t work forcing me to use valuable space on the Chariot’s media. It could be browser trouble and I might need to update, though what do I know.
Sorry for this lacklustre, tedious and jaded comment. And if that doesn’t bring out the tautology Police bloggers nothing will.

On point of order! You’re posts might take 15 minutes but my detailed sports commentaries take considerably longer. What, by the time I’ve scanned the programme and tickets, uploaded the photos, resized everything to fit and load quickly and then added my pearls of wisdom I’m at least an hour and 2 cups of tea into the project before I hit the “publish” button!
Other than that I agree with everything you say 😉
Takes me bloody sight longer too!
Crap typist and computer illiterate!
BUT, one really must continue to air one’s prejudices!
OK, OK! 15 minutes is an under-estimate, but why not break down the job into 15 minute bits? very few posts are ‘time-critical’, as one might say. ;.)
Janus: My gripping travelogue has bored them all into a blissful slumber. Sometimes it seems to take 15 minutes to upload ten pictures with a bad internet connection. I’ll see if I can find something interesting to post, it’s raining here today so lots of free time.
LW, don’t feel so bad about it. I venture to suggest that your blow-by-blow (or is it lock-by-lock?) account is one of the more interesting features just now! 🙂
Too right!
