Iām not a flower or gardener blog lover but I am enjoying the summer weather this week.
This was a difficult one. In photo 2 just above the Araminta stamp and behind the leaves is the hind quarters of a shy, crouching Silverback Gorilla. š
Lovely pictures, Araminta! Summer has truly arrived in California as well. This Saturday it is supposed to reach 42 C.
I see your lady gnome has cast off her bikini too! š
And this lovely weather coincides with the start of a new half term at school. Teachers and staff seem much jollier, the kids more skippy and the lawns more green and crisp. Anyone for tennis?
Hello JW.
That damn Gorilla again. š
Thanks Christopher.
I think we’ll be lucky if it reaches 20 C here.Summer was perhaps something of an exaggeration.
Hello Janus.
Yes, but she looks a little chilly still. It’s been a long winter.
PapaG. Yes, it’s really lovely to see a bit of sun again. I’d almost given up hope.
Always good to see flowers.
Very tactful, Tina. I know pink is not your favourite colour. š
I tried chopping the rose down when we had the drive done, but it reappeared, looking rather healthier, so I shall learn to tolerate it.
Blimey girl! You have a long memory!! No alzheimers there then!!
I must nip out and take a pic of my sacrificial day-glo pink inherited rose, of course, the deer have not obliged by eating it this year!
