It’s sad that so few charioteers have so little to say these days; only a couple of regular bloggers and a handful of comments if they’re lucky. Remember that critical mass and the downward spiral always take effect sooner than you think.

Perhaps a recruitment drive is needed, how about a full page ad in the DT or DM ?

I’m still here and will remain so. I sincerely hope the Warrior Queen and the Bear are not discouraged as the Chariot is an ace place to visit

Mrs FEEG and I are going to Washington DC next week, so I would hope to have a thing or two to post from there.
I find it varies enormously, Janus. A silly little post on Paris using sheep to keep the grass short in public spaces got 19 comments. And as Boadicea commented on another post, it’s amazing in what directions threads can wander off. Anyway, stand back!
Sheona is correct. It varies a lot.
I also don’t think that anyone would be that interested in my musings on
life in Minnesota and the submission of my thesis for preliminary approval.
I continue to be amazed that my reader bothers to respond to my scribbles at all. Not that it’s going to stop me scribbling.

Business, taxes and boat commissioning seriously interfering with my leisure time. Must try harder, may have to cut down on sleep or drinking time (as a ast resort) .
‘L and death, last resort.
We have been on and off the internet all week. It keeps dying! Unfortunately the telephone dies at the same time!
Silver lining, it means more gardening gets done!
Unfortunately I am not quite sure of you’s all’s tolerance for pictures of plants and yet more pictures of plants!
I rarely do anything else than garden. I have declared fatwas on most else or the doctors have on my behalf.
I wonder what happened to Pseu/Nym and JM?
And Janh and OMG

OMG pops up occasionally on MyT.
Christina, since we no longer have a garden, photos of plants are always enjoyable. Son, daughter-in-law and the granddaughters are planning to move closer to us in the UK and husband has already volunteered for gardening duty.
‘We few, we happy few, we band of brothers;’
Good afternoon,
When I last checked, nothing much had happened to me at all.
I have, however, and in my opinion, been an eye of inner calm at the centre of a tumultuous storm of events in the recent past.
The only one of which really matters is that Mrs M tripped over our beloved hound and walked around on sticks for three weeks until they managed to work out that she had broken her hip instead of just suffering from a bad muscle strain. She is now the proud owner of a replacement hip and I get her home tomorrow.
So, I’ll be back in due course once things settle down,
Yoo,hoo, Mr Mackie, but what news of the beloved hound?
OZ
Oh dear!
Best wishes to Mrs Mackie for a speedy recovery.
Janus.
Nym is fine, by the way, but she’s given up blogging for the moment. Pressures of work and family.
John Mackie: please send Mrs Mackie best wishes for a speedy recovery.
Best wishes from me too please, Mr Mackie. I hope your good lady will be bounding about in no time at all.
Hoots, mon! Best wishes to Mrs M, JM. Looking forward to your return.
Janus I will try to find time to do a few ‘reflections’ or some shots of Junior coming up to six years of age.
PG, six already! Don’t I remember his arrival?
JM, I’m sorry to learn your absence has been due to Mrs JM’s ill health and hope she makes a full recovery soon. I had assumed you were crouched in a dark corner mourning the fact that it’s Hibs that face Celtic in the Scottish Cup Final (a left-footers Derby) and that Hearts are not at all well.
