Timing

As the somewhat startled winner of both December comps it falls upon me to set the next contests.  The question is, do cherished colleagues want them immediately with a closing date during the festive season or do you want to wait until after the final New Year burp?  I’m easy either way, but any suggestions/comments/guidance would be gratefully received.

Just loping around. Extremely fond of roast boar in particular, meat in general and cooking on the barbie. Fish is good too.

    Dear Mr Zangado,

You are clearly suffering from Post-Victory-Shock-Syndrome, like so many Brits at the end of the GB Year of Victories, 2012. Ask Brad, Andy, Mo and Jess, not to mention the entire England rugby and cricket squads – they all feel the same. In the circumstances it would be best to take a well-earned sabbatical over the festive season, re-emerging with new comps on Twelfth Night or thereabouts.

Or to put it another way, I doubt whether anybody can be *rsed for the time being.

  2. Personally, I would like a bit of respite from the Chrimbo overindulgence!

On the other hand, you may only have one day to compete. 🙂

  3. OZ: I am disinterested (lovely word, I don’t often have the chance to use it), but I do have a suggestion, it may be more fruitful to ask the question again on Saturday…… if there is one.

  4. Auntie Backside???? Aaaarghhh! Ethel, on the other hand, is over the moon.

With the hopefully anticipated permission of Milady Boadicea and Milord Bearsy, whose site this is, the comps will therefore restart on Twelfth Night (if there is one). Otherwise I shall still be restlessly around over the festive period as the NSW is on duty and I don’t want you barstewards keeping me bored. So there!
