More (expletive deleted) Climate Madness.

Sack this dangerous idiot.

A trillion pounds of public debt, at least 100 billion more in the pipeline and this whacko – along with his dear leader – wants to waste another 2 billion quid’s-worth of taxpayers’ hard-earned for no return except that a few corrupt politicians and their criminal and business cronies in Africa and S America buy themselves a few new Mercedes, or Ferraris.

Building windmills in Africa is going to do absolutely SFA for the people who really need help. It’s not even better then doing nothing – in fact it’s worse then doing nothing because the wasted money could have been spent on something which would actually have helped African people – roads, for example or real power stations – coal, which is plentiful in large areas of Africa or a couple of Nukes.

Money for agriculture in Columbia? Narcotraffickers are estimated to control about 10 million acres of land, including about half of the most fertile and sought-after land in the country, and infiltrated the highest levels of institutions like the presidential intelligence service (DAS) and the Medellín branch of the Prosecutor-General’s Office, as well as controlling local politicians and elements of LEA. Where does he think that cash is going to go?

What we spend waste on foreign aid each year would build two nuclear power stations at home and keep the lights on – and the equipment working in our hospitals and schools.

Time to stop this nonsense once and for all.

  1. I could not agree more. Of course, the contracts for these useless windmills are likely to go to Wavy Davy’s friends! I thought charity began at home.

  2. I cannot think of anyone who is in favour of this, except perhaps those companies making a fortune “administering” this aid to the so called Third World.

  3. I could not agree more, ditto!
Apart from that they should only supply birth control supplies as foreign aid. Too many of them all heading for the UK. (Two bricks should do the trick!)
Adage of the age-Don’t breed what you can’t feed!
And whilst they are at it, stop all children’s allowance in the UK and free homes for young unmarried mothers.

  4. I have suggested elsewhere that African cows have to be prevented from farting methane. Since there are probably as many Africans as cows, each one could be usefully employed following a cow around. That’s green policy!

It is not farting, but burping that is supposed to be the problem 🙂

  6. This Politics of Hypocrisy is not confined to the UK. Evergreen Denmark professes not to support nuclear power. However with its own coal and gas facilities producing less power than it needs, it buys power from nuclear countries. And now it has been caught out secretly approving of uranium extraction in Greenland when the local parliament has expressly refused to do so. Dontchya just love ’em?

  7. Foreign aid, n,m. The process of giving money from poor people in rich countries to rich people in poor countries

This is utter, utter, barking madness and a continuing scandal of corruption. Back in the day, the Aussies once refused to send more money to their foreign aid recipients, but shipped seed and tractors and water tanks and suchlike instead. The resultant howls of outrage from the foreign pollies could be heard all the way to Canberra. Problem was, it appeared, that you can’t buy a condominium in Cairns, no matter how many tractors you have appropriated.

  8. I’d like to add something to this post – but it’s all been said. It is utterly outrageous that Governments (and I include my own) can dip their hands into taxpayer’s pockets as they please.
