I’d be the last person to pre-judge the outcome of the almost-knighted John Terry hearing but he may just be innocent until proved Irish/Jewish/Lothario/Gay/Conservative/Rich/…….. if you get my drift. But MATT has nailed it once again.

But I suspect his earlier attempts to side-step the accusation will not be viewed favourably by the judge. I believe he has been scapegoated, a hostage to political correctness as the obscenity was viewed on TV. One might ask … and who are the TV viewers? ….. is it really likely anyone was offended or insulted by lip-reading the abuse? I don’t think so.
