  1. Yee-ha! Finger-pickin’ good. Not so sure about the violin: too screechy for me but then again perhaps that is part of the country flavour. PS Are my eyes going? Is the plucker on the bed wearing trousers the same fabric as the bed spread or is he legless?

  2. FEEG: The Mizzone Brothers, Jonny (10) plays the banjo, not from Appalachia but rural New Jersey. Google Sleepy man Banjo boys for more tunes.

    PPG: Only a ten year old can sit on his feet and play the banjo.

  3. When I worked for Rowntrees in York in the late ’60s I used to visit a town pub on the riverside where there were frequent performances of english folk music/songs by amateur enthusiasts, usually dressed in the fashions of the time – flower persons all. Excellent stuff.
