Well well, what a surprise!
Evidently all the big playing yids managed to dump their shares at $38. or so and left the small uninformed private investors (mainly goyim) to take the losses.
Zuckerberg sold 30 million puffed shares, well now, ain’t that grand?
The cautionary tale of the Winklepicker brothers should have already alerted the share buying populace to the shady slimy dealings of baldfacedbook.
And then they wonder why society culls them every few years? Pity we can’t have a rerun of the pogrom of York, so much more satisfying than a courtroom!
I think I’ll totter off to the greenhouse, anything to get the stink of such mendacious slime out of my nostrils. Thank God the jews have never been plant breeders of consequence, not enough chance to gouge the rest of us I suppose! Positively pukemaking.
It zucked from the gitgo and the investors were truly Zuckered.
Hi CO.
I would surmise from this post that you are not of the ‘Plucky little Israel’ persuasion? Fair enough and your opinion.
I usually enjoy your rants but, with respect:-
‘And then they wonder why society culls them every few years? Pity we can’t have a rerun of the pogrom of York, so much more satisfying than a courtroom!’
seems to me to be sailing fairly close to being slightly beyond the pale. I am not convinced, from my reading of the reports on the Facebook flotation disaster that all of the winners were Semitic or that all of the losers were descendants of Japheth or Ham.
Whatever, more importantly and moving on, what’s Fishguard like? We are taking the hound to pollute the beaches of Pembrokeshire this summer and there seems to be a pleasant dog-friendly hotel in said town.
Central Fishguard is all docks for the Irish ferry. However, to the West of the town is a headland that is rural with a hotel on it that used to have a good reputation, that may be it? Rather pleasant up there. There are some very pleasant beaches, most of which are divided into dogs allowed and wretched sprogs! Pembs derives far more income from adults with dogs rather than families these days, hence the availability of dog friendly businesses and countryside.
do go to St Davids, the blue Lagoon and get down to the south to see St Govan’s Chapel.
Considering that in the USA, banks, share dealers and financial apparatchiks are virtually totally jewish I am more than happy to assume that the major benefactors on this occasion were of that race and /or religion from the list.
Following on the heels of the malfeasance of Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley and Madof I think that they are beyond the pale in their behaviour and avarice that becomes more blatant every day. As usual, it will end in tears in due course and they will only have themselves to blame one more time. Too many gentiles have been bamboozled into guilt trips over the holocaust without wishing to see the behaviour that brings them to such a pass in the first place. I don’t do guilt trips for my progenitors but I do observe how the same peoples all seem to repeat history ad nauseam, (ourselves included!)
Sorry to have to burst your bubble, CO, but Israel has done brilliantly in agricultural innovation and they are actually avid planters. Tim Geithner, Charles Ponzi, Giancarlo Parretti, Michael Brown, Tony Blair, etc are also all fraudsters and none are Jewish. The Jews have a bad reputation because so many of them are extremely successful and are thus given the chance to scam more per capita than other groups.
My bias is the opposite of CO’s. I grew up culturally Christian but received instruction in East Asian and Jewish philosophies and have quite comfortably blended them all together. I like Jews, I respect Jews. If it were not for my desire retain my cultural affiliation I would have long ago converted to Judaism.
Christina, I’m struggling to discover which social group on this shrinking planet does meet with your approval. I presume rural aboriginal Welsh protestant conservative expatriots with funds? Can’t be many of those.
I have to say I disagree with your analysis of Jews as well, Christina. They have been persecuted in Christian societies for centuries – aided and abetted by Christian Churches of all persuasions who seem to have forgotten that the founder of their religion was a Jew.
Jews have been quite unlike most other ‘immigrant’ groups in Europe, since they’ve not had a ‘home to go back to’ until recently. Unlike Romanies, who have been in a similar position, Jews have prized education, self-sufficiency and have cultivated skills that enabled them to move and survive elsewhere – when the indigenous population turned on them. And do not forget that Society forbade them to engage in many activities.
I’m sure that someone will exclaim that Catholics and Non-Conformists suffered similar restrictions. None faced eviction from the lands that they thought of as home – and none have figured so highly amongst the intelligentsia and the innovators of the world.
Sure, there are some fraudulent and dishonest Jews – but as Christopher points out – such people are not confined to one religion, one race or one nationality.
Like you, I deplore Israel’s use of the holocaust as an emotional lever. That will not continue for much longer. You, I and many others are getting tired of having the guilt of earlier generations thrust upon us – the next generations will make it quite clear that such emotional blackmail is unacceptable – and it won’t just be Jews, but Africans, Aboriginals and the rest of the world who try to make the West feel guilty about their past history.
Christopher
I have a great deal of respect for Reformed Judaism – but none for Orthodox Judaism, since that particular brand has as warped a view of women as Islam! But then neither you nor I could convert to Orthodox Judaism since (oddly!) one must be able to prove descent from a Jew through the female line.
Boadicea: for the most part Israelis dislike Orthodox Jews. The more fanatic they are, the less they like them.
Due to the complexities of building coalitions in the Knesset, ultra-orthodox Jews have an undue influence over life in the country. El Al, for example, cannot fly during the Sabbath because of them. Reform Jews abroad also disdain them for the most part as they treat Reform Jews like traitors for trying to succeed in the present century in any country they might be in rather than live in mediaeval ghettos. Oh, and they also tend to smell really, really bad as they only bathe once weekly.
As for your point on Israel… Most on this site already know that I’m staunchly pro-Israel. It’s the only country worth anything in the Middle East other than Turkey which, sadly, is back-sliding. They make a lot of mistakes, but they also get demonised by the media. They’ve been fighting for decades against guerillas who do not hesitate to use schools, mosques, and housing projects as battle grounds knowing that any retaliation will cost civilian lives. The flotillas are also absurd. When aid is sent to Gaza the Israelis ask only that they be permitted to carry verify that there are not weapons, something which often is the case.
Well I shall cheerfully admit to actively disliking jews. I have had particularly distressing run ins on a personal level with several in my younger days and it has left a lifelong revulsion. Always on the ‘chisel and the make’, particularly if they are dealing with a gentile. They obviously do not treat others as they do their own kind, a habit they have in common with their islamic neighbours.
I really cannot blame Christians over the centuries persecuting them and can quite see how it came about.
What is really peculiar is that they never saw fit to modify their behaviour to make them a little less offensive to others amongst whom they lived.
CO, I am amazed that an apparently compos mentis charioteer like your goodself can actively dislike a whole social group, no matter how many members of it proved to be offensive to you. Does that mean if you met an offensive Methodist, all his fellows would be damned? Iit is not only illogical but also inexplicable, IMHO.
PS my own experience is quite the opposite. On my two visits to Israel I was treated most courteously and shown more kindness than i could ever have expected. Similarly I was friendly for some years with a member of the Rothschild clan who was a true gentleman for all his family’s wealth and personal success. What’s not to like?
Janus, I agree that it is a matter of personal experience.
However, I like straightforward, reasonably honest, not too much hidden agenda type people. I just have never met a jew or muslim that didn’t have some alternative game plan going on in their dealings with me.
As I said, always on the ‘chisel and the make’.
I have never found that to be the case with Christians, either white or black.
Of course one meets offensive Christians, but they never seem to have that slimy, smarmy stab you in the back quality.
Net result, one just dodges the whole lot of them, saves the stomach acid!
I read nothing in the newspaper to make me change my opinion.
I most certainly think there was collusion, possibly fraud in the Facebook fiasco with them all in it up to the neck, I see all the regulatory bodies agree that it is worthy of a closer look and that refunds are hastily being offered all round!
That is a grand ‘on the chisel and the make’!
Hope they come truly unglued, they deserve to.
CO, my point is that even my fondness for a few Jews does not mean I love the whole lot of ’em! They are as heterogeneous as the Welsh (and Gawd knows THEY are!) and far more numerous. All I can observe is that you have been impossibly unfortunate to have met no nice ones. Or is it the way you interface?
Dear janus, I have never interfaced in my life! Are you sure it’s legal?
