Coincidentally I’m in the middle of a book about Bletchley Park. Fascinating stuff.
I must go to that. Alan Turing was a great man. I have been to Bletchley Park before, where they were still in the process of reconstructing the Colossus computer. It was very frustrating to learn how the British lead in computers developed during the war was thrown away by the British Government, but it was a fascinating visit. Thoroughly recommended.
There is now an ePetition to make the object on display on the fourth plinth in Trafalgar Square permanently a statue of Alan Turing.

Hi FEEG, I think that would be an improvement on that pregnant lady who occupied the spot for a while.
More about Turing’s legacy…….
