A fortnight’s time should see an interesting game. Unless England raise their attacking game from where it was after Lee Dickson came on against Italy, I can’t see them making that much of an impact against the Welsh defence. On the other hand, England have been disciplined and defending well…I think it might be a ‘learning experience’ for our young side, though.
Wales deserved to win, but the ref made them look better than they were. They still have some vulnerabilities.
I really hate French referees who miss two blatant and throttling high tackles by Welshmen immediately before giving De Luca an admittedly deserved yellow card and who later disallow perfectly a good try without even referring it especially when that has been compounded by a cheating Welshman who wins a cheap penalty by deliberately running into the back of a retreating forward who could have had no idea that he was there.
With those slight reservations, well played and congratulations Wales! Architects of our own defeat as usual but we are getting better and stronger and one day we will get it seriously right and somebody is going to suffer. In my opinion.
