  1. The last time I posted a what was otherwise harmless but amusing picture with ‘F**k’ in it, was removed by the proprietors of this site. I am counting the minutes til the same happens here.

  2. Oh get over yourself Sipu. If you don’t like it here fuck off.

Let’s see if that gets moderated shall we!

It’s a funny cartoon of typical Zenrules style. There’s really no need to made such a childish comment – it is almost as if you want to have a fight with the proprietors. Well, two of them don’t bite, and the other one you loathe anyway (mutually) so what’s your point?

Anyway, Zen, very funny, thank you for sharing! 😀

  3. Pseu :

    can someone explain?

    Good evening Pseu,

As a simple Jock and it follows ‘as the night the day’ a mere observer of this entire farrago, please let me offer you my tuppenceworth?

The top photograph is of somebody who is almost certainly the greatest living English football manager with a good record of success and, allegedly, only the slightly peripheral possibility that he has made serious money over the years in bungs and shady deals. HMRC failed to nail him the other day and he walked free.

That very same day, and by sheer coincidence, the Football Association (they were the first so they don’t have to prefix it with ‘English’ -it’s a bit like the Open and our stamps) discovered that their present coach, the very non-English Italian Fabio who is depicted in the bottom photo, had chosen to walk the plank. Top photo instantly became the ‘People’s Manager’ who will lead the English team to glory in the forthcoming Euros. It’s pure serendipity, so it is!

And zenrule’s post is bloody funny in those circumstances.

For the avoidance of doubt, I hope that Harry gets the job because he has put in the years, really is a great manager, in my opinion, and because I genuinely wish England the best in said Euros. I just worry that the media sniping will start just as soon as he is in place.

Thank you Cuprum, but I do like it here. I have no objection to the joke either and also think it is amusing. I am just puzzled by the manner in which censorship rules are applied here. I was genuinely surprised that my post was removed without explanation. Boadicea says context is all, and I agree, though I think she is being disingenuous. But her rules apply, so I will just have to lump it.

  5. JM, ref you last point: DT today:

Asked about the FA’s stance on Terry and the captaincy, Redknapp replied: “It’s a difficult one. You’re trying to get me out of the job before I can get in!”
