Euro talks

Can someone explain why these talks on the Euro start late evening after a large meal with plenty of booze no doubt. What is wrong with meeting fresh first thing in the morning and having sandwiches and coffee/tea/water so that a clear head is kept?

Mind you this probably explains why they can’t come up with an answer, too pissed or too tired.

I am perfect, well I think so and I am never wrong so it must be true.

  1. Rick, I think it’s all spin. ‘Hard-working leaders work late into the night to save our economies.’ 😮

  2. Strikes me as amusing that the only people we put in place to put this whole shabby mess right are the exact same greedy, pocket lining bar stewards who got us so deeply in the sticky stuff in the first place.

Funnily enough, the exact same people with the most to lose should everyone as a man say “OK Enough! Let’s just wipe the slate and start over.” The same folk who are desperate to get us back to the exact same state of affairs that found us staring into the abyss to start with.

Am I the only one who finds it just a bit odd?

  3. Ferret, no you are not alone. I have been saying this for a long time.

If we get rid of all accountants, lawyers and HR people by executing the lot of them, then there will be only a handful of politicians left, and maybe they will be the right ones, if not execute them as well and let me and thee run the world.
